I loved the series! The ending fit perfectly.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping for- gloomy, but a littleeee bitter-sweet
Loved It.
I love the no replay feature. It was incredibly intense for such a simple game, and no replay adds to that feel. However, I may be a bit of a hypocrite; I figured out a simple hack to allow myself to replay. I still feel guilty about that... I think I'm going to play again tomorrow instead of tonight. (Maybe it'll ease the guilt :)
Fun thought, but the game mechanics had issues.
The story was interesting. The music wasn't too repetitive for me. However, the hit detection issues ruined a lot of the gameplay for me. I could fall off a ledge, click left, and be magically off the ledge. The bone would sometimes fall beneath a surface making rex face a random direction. That was only a real issue on the spike or lava levels, where rex would turn around and give you almost no time to move with him. Other than the hit detection problems, good game.
Good but needs improvement.
The graphics are great, but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. It gets really repetitive, really fast. The lightning attack is the best in the game, and can be bought right after the tutorial level. You don't need another item to beat the game. Plus, the battle mechanics, even without the lightning attack, are pretty repetitive. Creating more aggressive enemies and allowing a person to move in the air, use throw attacks in the air, adding a down-air attack, and reducing the power of the lighting attack would make the game more challenging, and more interesting.
Loved It.
The one thing I would add is a bit more detail in the drawing section. (Common features people leave out or draw incorrectly, how you chose your colors, etc.)
Other than that, great; I'm going to grab a gun off of Google and draw it right now.
Trace away!
Yeah, I wanted to have a part about coloring, specifically using linear and radial fills to create depth and sexyness... But the color mixer varies so much from each version of flash, and most of the coloring is self-explanatory anyway, I decided to leave it out.
Glad you loved it.
The animation was decent,
And the backgrounds were interesting, but the animation needs breathing room. After clicking a button, everything happened so fast that I barely had time to register and enjoy the show before the main menu button appeared.
Fun, but with issues.
I enjoyed playing the game up until I was teleported from the middle of the room into the middle of a wall, and couldn't escape. I think this is because of the minor audio glitches. When the audio track restarted, the game would often momentarily freeze. This is when I was teleported into a wall. I was holding right at the time, and I think the game pushed my character to the right without hit detection. Fix this plus the issues with the audio lagging the game, and it will be a whole lot better. Also, I would add some music for night time as well.
This is way better than sex ed!
I probably learned more from this game than public school ever taught me.
It was a nice break from the usual fighting games.
But, I come to newgrounds to play flash games, and all of these 3d flash engines make it feel like I'm playing an outdated console fighter. Taking advantage of the 3d capabilities while still maintaining the flash feel would be fantastic. But, I haven't seen anybody do this so far, so I'm not surprised that this didn't either. But enough of my criticisms; besides that the game was pretty fun. It didn't offer enough branches in gameplay style to really hold my attention, but it's probably the only 3d flash game that has actually kept me playing for longer than 30 seconds.
To expect xbox360 now, in flash, is a little unrealistic.
Thanks for the nice score, and the nice words.
